SOUNDS FROM THE SUPERMARKET

Els quatre integrants multigeneracionals es van consolidar com a grup el 2020, trobant ràpidament la seva fórmula creativa. Amb ritmes contundents, melodies inusuals i un estil vocal variat defensen un gènere propi, a camí entre el rock alternatiu i les sensibilitats més post-punk. Van presentar el seu primer treball a finals del 2021, un EP homònim de sis cançons, presentat en directe amb una gran rebuda.

Formed in 2020 the multi-generational 4-piece rapidly found their creative stride. Shedding influences and preconceptions in a search for compositions that would surprise and challenge themselves they produced a slew of songs. With unusual time signatures, nuanced drums, compelling, beguiling riffs and a varied vocal style their shapeshifting tunes span many genres, while clearly underpinned with postpunk attitude. They released their eponymous EP in late 2021 and their attention-grabbing live shows have been received with enthusiasm.

Mike Tyson Is Dead, es un power trío europeo afincado en Barcelona compuesto por Ryan Jackson (Beach Skulls) a la guitarra y voz, Pep Pieras (Pa Moreno) al bajo y Gerard Masmitjà a la batería. Traen sonidos frescos mezclando lo-fi, surf y garaje con su EP debut homónimo, que verá la luz en septiembre de 2022 a través del sello SoFi.
