Hangar and TOPLAP Barcelona, with the On-the-fly Creative Europe project, and in partnership with MUTEK ES, present the first ever international node of the Algorithmic Art Assembly (AAA), taking place at Hangar in Barcelona on Saturday 12th March 2022 and streamed to San Francisco. PC Music's Lil Data will perform alongside local artists Eloi el bon noi, Alicia Champlin and QBRNTHSS, all streaming to AAA San Francisco. In a reciprocal dialogue, artists from AAA San Francisco including William Fields and Phil Burk will live stream talks to Hangar, and Mark Fell & Rian Treanor will present a new interactive work commissioned by AAA. This event is part of Lil Data's on-the-fly residency, which will culminate with workshops, hackathons and an algorave at /*VIU*/ Festival 2022.
