Javier Ruibal(El Puerto de Santa María, Cádiz, 15 de mayo de 1955).Es compositor, guitarrista, cantante y autor de sus textos, así como arreglista de sus creaciones. En su música confluyen flamenco, música sefardí, magrebí, jazz, rock, etc. El 28 de febrero del año 2007, obtuvo la Medalla de Andalucía en reconocimiento a su carrera.
