En este taller, Joji te mostrará el proceso de diseño de un jersey de principio a fin.

Se trata de una clase dirigida a cualquier persona que teja y esté pensando en diseñar su primer jersey, ya sea por diversión, por motivos laborales o por curiosidad de saber lo que pasa entre bastidores.

¿Cómo funciona el taller en directo?

Al apuntarte a este curso teórico práctico, recibirás un documento en PDF que deberás imprimir antes de empezar. Es indispensable para seguir la clase online. 

Desarrollo del taller

Temario:

  • Cómo encontrar inspiración (Pinterest, diseñadores de moda, marcas). 
  • Conocer las tendencias y ajustarlas a tu jersey.
  • Medidas importantes a considerar cuando se diseña (extensión de los hombros, busto completo, circunferencia de las mangas, medida de las caderas, etc.). Tablas de medidas y su significado.
  • Lo fácil (¡las prendas no siempre tienen que ser de la misma talla que la tabla de medidas!).
  • Tomar notas sobre cómo personalizar tus prendas (por ejemplo, el largo de las mangas, el largo del cuerpo).
  • Visión general de las diferentes construcciones de jerséis y cómo elegir el que mejor se adapte a tu idea.
  • Qué hace que un diseño sea único: esos pequeños detalles que lo hacen diferente de los demás.
  • Comentar algunas muestras y sus técnicas de construcción.
  • Conceptos básicos sobre cómo clasificar los patrones en diferentes tamaños y hacerlos de tamaño inclusivo y bien ajustados.
  • Uso de hojas de cálculo para calificar un patrón muy básico y convertirlo en instrucciones según las diferentes tallas.

Conocimientos previos: experiencia con programas de hojas de cálculo (como Excel, Numbers o Sheets). Será útil, pero no necesaria. 

 Material necesario: Cuaderno, bolígrafo y cinta métrica.

¿Cómo funcionan los talleres y charlas online?

Barcelona Knits 2020 cuenta con un programa de talleres y charlas online de punto de media y ganchillo impartidos por reconocidos diseñadores nacionales, internacionales e influencers del mundo de la lana.     

A partir de finales de septiembre, podrás consultar el programa de talleres online y el panel de talleristas y reservar tu plaza.

Utilizaremos Zoom como plataforma para las clases virtuales. Sólo necesitarás un ordenador o un dispositivo móvil con cámara y micrófono. Te recomendamos que compruebes la calidad de tu conexión, los horarios, idioma en que se imparten, el nivel y los conocimientos previos que necesitas.

Una vez empezado el taller, ya no podrás acceder. Por este motivo, lo mejor es que te conectes 10 minutos antes y te asegures de que el link funciona correctamente.

In this workshop, Joji will show you the design process of a sweater from beginning to end. 

It is a class thought for any type of knitters who are thinking about designing their sweater, even if it is simply for fun, for their work, or because they're curious about what happens backstage.

How the streaming workshop works:

Once you join this theoretical-practical workshop, you will receive a PDF document that you will have to print before the event. It will be necessary for the online class.

Development of the workshop

  Workshop agenda: 

  • How to find your inspiration (Pinterest, fashion designers, brands).
  • Learn about the trends and how to adjust them to your sweater.
  • Important measures to take into account while designing (shoulder's extension, complete bust, sleeves circumference, the measure of the hips, etc.). Measurement chart and its meaning.
  • The easy stuff (your garments do not need to have the same size as the ones in the measurements chart!).
  • Take notes about how to customize your garments (for example, the length of your sleeves or the body).
  • A general overview of the different buildings of your sweater and how to choose the one that best suits your idea.
  • What makes a design to be unique: those small details that make it different from the others.
  • Comment some samples and building techniques.
  • Basic concepts on how to classify the patterns in different sizes and make them with an inclusive size and well tight.
  • Use spreadsheets to classify a basic pattern and transform it into instructions according to the different sizes.

Previous Knowledge: experience using spreadsheets programs, like Excel, Numbers, or Sheets. It would be useful for you, though it is not necessary.

Barcelona Knits 2020 counts with a program of workshop and online talks of knitting and crocheting taught by well known national and international designers as well as by influencers of the world of wools. 

 

From September, you will be able to see the program of online workshops and the workshop facilitators list and book your seat.   

 

We will use Zoom as a online-class platform. You will only need a computer or a mobile device with a camera and a microphone. We will recommend you to test the quality of the connection, the schedules, the language in which they are taught, the level, and the required previous knowledge.

 

Once the workshop starts, you won’t be able to access it. That’s why we recommend you to join 10 minutes before and to make sure that your link works properly.

Había escuchado de parte de participantes de ediciones anteriores que este taller valía la pena. Este domingo pude comprobar que es así. Joji no solo imparte sus conocimientos, también anima a dise Read more ar brindando sus puntos de vista desde su experiencia como diseñadora. Además recibe las inquietudes que se le plantean y se pone a la par de uno a buscar alternativas. Quien tenga la oportunidad de hacer este taller, que no dude que lo dejará con una sensación de haber invertido en algo que merecía mucho la pena. Espero que en las próximas ediciones del BCN Knits Fest se siga manteniendo la opción de brindar talleres no presenciales, para quienes no tenemos la oportunidad de acercarnos a este maravilloso festival.
