Tenemos el placer de presentarles el espectáculo PINOCCHIO (EL PRINCIPIO DEL VIAJE) de ORLAND VERDÚ, una obra de teatro onírico y gestual capaz de transportarnos a un mundo de fantasía con una reflexión profunda sobre la libertad.
El espectáculo se estrenó en tierras valencianas el sábado 21 de enero en el Teatro Cervantes de Petrer y deseamos que sea el inicio de su aventura. Nuestra compañía está inscrita oficialmente en La Red Española de Teatros. Con todo, aprovechamos para presentarles este original PINOCCHIO, que va mucho más allá de un espectáculo para convertirse en el oráculo anímico del siglo XXI más allá de la posverdad y la mentira.
La obra es una versión en gran formato del espectáculo original estrenado en Berlín en el Festival AMALGAM y representado en el Teatre ORACLES de Barcelona durante tres temporadas. Orland Verdú, ganador del Premio de Teatro Ciudad de Sagunto y del Premio Evarist Garcia de la Diputación de Alicante, nos obsequia en esta ocasión una obra de teatro gestual y onírico inspirada en Pinocchio para interrogarnos sobre la manipulación y el anhelo espiritual de vivir en libertad.
Inspirada en el universal personaje de Chaplin, la iconoclastia visual de Pasolini, y la exquisita danza de Kazuo Ohno, nuestro PINOCCHIO vuelve a lo más verdadero del ser: el cuerpo. Y así, sin palabras y a través del movimiento, somos transportados a un cuento pleno de aventuras y desafíos muy contemporáneos, donde la guerra, la política y los mass media son pruebas que Pinocchio habrá de experimentar para descubrir su humanidad y aprender a discernir verdad y mentira.
Luego de la función de Domingo 18, tendremos un momento de celebración especial para homenajear a Orland y a su trayectoria, brindando con un cava de honor.

We're excited to present to you “PINOCCHIO (THE BEGINNING OF THE JOURNEY)” a show by ORLAND VERDÚ. A dreamlike and gestural play, capable of transporting us to a fantasy world with a profound reflection on freedom.
The show premiered in Valencia on Saturday, January 21st at the Cervantes Theater in Petrer, and we hope it's just the beginning of its adventure. Our company is officially registered in the Spanish Theater Network. Nevertheless, we'd like to introduce you to this original PINOCCHIO, which goes beyond just being a show to become the emotional oracle of the 21st century beyond post-truth and lies.
The play is a large format version of the original show premiered in Berlin at the AMALGAM Festival and performed at the former ORACLES Theater (now the Teatro Metamorfosis) in Barcelona for three seasons. Orland Verdú, winner of the Sagunto City Theater Award and the Evarist Garcia Award from the Province of Alicante, gifts us this time with a gestural and dreamlike play inspired by Pinocchio to interrogate us about manipulation and the spiritual longing to live in freedom.
Inspired by the universal character of Chaplin, the visual iconoclasm of Pasolini, and the exquisite dance of Kazuo Ohno, our PINOCCHIO returns to the truest essence of being: the body. And so, without words and through movement, we're transported into a tale full of adventures and very contemporary challenges, where war, politics, and mass media are tests that Pinocchio will have to experience to discover his humanity and learn to distinguish truth from lies.
