ENGLISH

After yet another one-year break (you know why!) Sitges ETC is back with a new fantabulous pantomime. Prepare yourself for a visual and musical treat with beautiful songs and dances, audience interaction, gags and terrible puns. Not to mention 86 gorgeous costumes.

You will discover that Aladdin, his mum and two aunts actually live here in Sitges! But how and where will Aladdin meet Jasmine? What will the evil Abanazar do to acquire the magic lamp? What colour will the Genie be? What will the Sultan (not) wear? What will the new panto animal be? All will be revealed at the Retiro Theatre on Saturday 11th and Sunday 12th December. Don’t miss it!

Després d'un any més de descans (ja sabeu per què!) Sitges ETC torna amb una nova pantomima fantàstica. Prepareu-vos per a una delícia visual i musical amb cançons i danses precioses, interacció amb el públic, gags i acudits dolentíssims. Sense parlar de 86 disfresses vistoses.

Descobriràs que l'Aladí, la seva mare i dues ties viuen realment aquí a Sitges! Però, com i on coneixerà Aladdin la Jasmine? Què farà el malvat Abanazar per adquirir la làmpada màgica? De quin color serà el Geni? Què es posarà (no) el sultà? Quin serà el nou panto animal? Tot es revelarà al Teatre del Retiro el dissabte 11 i el diumenge 12 de desembre. No t'ho perdis!

Am Dram at its best.....
The pre show service was first class with all emails asking for information responded to promptly and a purchase procedure that was eay to follow. On arrival everyone was met at the theatre door by a Gehiago irakurri ery jolly giant of a man who instantly set the scene for what proved to be a fun show overall. The star(s) of the show by far was the Panto Zebra who offered up a classic dance number in fine style. Great singing from 'Jasmine' and the ladies in the 'laundry' throughout the show and the dance troupe was fabulous. The big negative was the disjointed way in which the show was presented mostly caused it must be said by poorly handled technical support such as the stage remaining in total darkness between scenes for, in some instances, several minutes, and the awful sound production from the personal face mikes especially in the first half of the show when a lot of the dialogue could only be followed (as it could not be heard) by reading the Catalan subtitles being flashed up on a screen above the stage. To sum up, we had a great time (the second half of the show far surpassed the first half) overall and it was well worth trip to Sitges from Barcelona for this show.

Brilliant!
The Pantomime was absolutely fantastic. I was very impressed by the the dramatics of the show. It was my friends Grandsons first ever Pantomime and when asked if he'd like to see another one he repli Gehiago irakurri d that he'd like to see your one again. Everyone did a splendid job . The only problem was the slight problem with the personal microphones not always working ( we were lucky as in row 2 and could still here everything. We will definitely come to your next Pantomime.

Aladdin
The mics didn’t work well in the first half and the sound was bad. It was different to understand what they were saying. It improved in the second half. The dancers were good and some of the singers Gehiago irakurri oo. It felt a bit too long for young children, especially when it was difficult to hear at times.
