The best tribute band in Europe of the mythical band AC/DC. We know how great and powerful they are, because we have been fortunate enough to experience them first hand playing in our previous events 2019 and the reencounter in 2021. They have played at the Smuk Fest with a audience of around 50.000 rockers and by demand have been asked back to perform in 2022. Smuk Fest is the second most important music festival in Denmark. They are also very committed to helping Rock Against Cancer and other associations fight for the cause.

Almost AC / DC, the closest you get to the real thing The Danish clones of AC/DC will carry out an extensive tour in 2022. Previous tours have been as far as Germany / Poland / Turkey & Spain - This year they hit a wide range of the major Danish Festivals, and a few individual trips abroad are on the drawing board at the time of writing. They are looking forward to getting on the road, and not least to visiting Rock against Cancer for their FOURTH TIME. Almost AC/DC promises that the well-known classics from one of the greatest rock bands of all time will not be spared. The sound, look and show are as close to the originals as it can get, and the well-known riffs from Back in Black, Thunderstruck, Highway to Hell will roar throughout the evening. The boys are looking forward to visiting the wonderful crew of Rock Agains Cancer again. They have felt very welcome from their very first visit. They will bring their A-Game and a very powerfull show. We hope for dry weather with a 100% chance of Thunder.

FOO FIGHTERS GB

Based in the Midlands, Foo Fighters GB just celebrated the ten-year anniversary of its inception. Various line-up changes in that time have helped take the band from strength to strength and 2023 is going to be a busy and exciting year for the Foo Fighting five-piece.
 
Not wishing to be a caricature of the real thing, Foo Fighters GB is a tribute to the music of the Foos, aiming to create as authentic but honest a live show for the audience as possible. You’ll hear all the hits, but also some of the less-well-known deep cuts from the FF back catalogue to give fans a uniquely satisfying experience. And the audience is always invited to be a part of the show when the singalongs start!
 
Recently recruited singer John Roper is the band’s new Dave Grohl, playing, what else, but a DG335 signature Gibson guitar through a classic Vox AC30 amp for authenticity.
 
Lead guitarist Nathan Peach uses a Chris Shiflett signature Fender Telecaster and the massive Mesa Boogie sound to cut through with those searing solos.
 
Connor Croxford holds down the low end as Nate Mandell with the classic combination of P-Bass and Ashdown amplification.
 
Setting the band apart from most Foo Fighters tributes is Jim Freeman, standing in for the Foos’ own Rami Jaffee, with his ever-expanding collection of keyboards and samplers.
 
And last, but by no means least, it’s Russ Weller on drums. Only two Pink Gretsch USA Custom Kits have ever been made. Russ has one of them, the other belonged to the late, great Taylor Hawkins. Along with his custom Gretsch USA Bell Brass snare and Zildjian cymbals, the pursuit of that authentic Foo Fighters sound is complete
